“It’s more of the need to serve, there’s been a perception about insurance that insurance is about liars, they don’t pay their bills, they don’t do what and you’ll find many times. It’s how the product has been presented. So to us, it’s about ensuring that a perception of insurance changed.”

RUTH AWINJA | MASTERSTROKE SOLUTIONS AGENCY

My names are Ruth Awinja, Principal Officer- Masterstroke Solutions Agency. I would call my history success because 24 years I've been selling insurance from humble beginnings as an agent running across to being a senior executive sales salesperson to management to a point where eventually I was heading a whole insurance company Medical Department and after that I moved on into now running Masterstroke and this is where we are as a company today, 24 years selling insurance.

How did you come up with the name Masterstroke and what does it mean?

Oh, the name Masterstroke actually comes from the referrals my clients I used to give me, because every time I would get a referral from a client, they'll tell me ABCD has referred me to you and they say you give me the solution I need. Hence the reason we came up with the name Masterstroke. Masterstroke allies itself with winning, triumph, so it happened that we were giving our class the best advice through the period and hence, more referrals and about, we can comfortably say 99 percent retention 24 years, I have class of held after today. Hence, the name Masterstroke Solutions.

What does Masterstroke Solutions do and for how long has it been operating?

Masterstroke have been running for the last eight years trading under that particular name. However, in business, insurance, 24 years, we've been there. Basically what we do is we deal with insurance services, financial advice, running across placing and sourcing for business for insurance companies, ensuring seamless services, especially in claims. And when we go to medical, you find that there's a lot of service needs in medical. That's prompt service is very key, in general we found ourselves as employee benefit partners because you find that we work with quite a number of direct line and direct line or personal line, clients and corporate accounts. So in this line you find when we brand ourself and call yourself employee partner benefits, what we do is we do a lot of weaver's, employer liabilities, we organized team building, wellness programs, anything that runs across employee needs and benefits. We are experts in that line.

What inspired you to get into that line of work?

It's more of the need to serve, there's been a perception about insurance that insurance is about liars, they don't pay their bills, they don't do what and you'll find many times. It's how the product has been presented. So to us, it's about ensuring that a perception of insurance changed. That is one and service to people, and obviously the open cheque. I mean, no one dictates how much l earn, l earn what l want to earn.

How does a phone help in your creative workflow and how do you use it?

To me communication and serving my clients. I sell service I don't sell anything tangible. So, to me being mobile and being able to communicate and serve my clients is the key thing.

What was your impression when you unboxed the Phantom X2?

Wow, sleek. It's very sleek. It’s a very sleek phone and when you look at it, the touch everything about this phone is just on a touch of it. It's light. It's a it's kind of state-of-art you know it doesn't look like so many other brands. So yeah.

Which feature of the Phantom X2 do you feel is the most important for your daily workflow?

One even before going to the use of the device. The battery life is very, very key for me. Because it lasts me over about I can do my work for whole day without having issues. I download a lot of documents in the course of the day and this phone does not have any delays, like it would lag, because I'm downloading say tender documents, policy documents. Everything keeps flowing at the same time, I wouldn't compromise on the battery and the RAM.

Would you recommend the Phantom X2 and if so, why?

Yes, I would recommend this for to anyone, especially people in my industry. I mean, the insurance industry, my fellow agents. This is a phone that would never disappoint you. Many times you find that the challenge we have with as agents is being able to like do everything at the same time, you must have your laptop and and have your phone. But with this phone, I don't necessarily have to have my laptop with me. My, this is my office. I've married to download my system in this office and it's working perfectly well, so I can issue my credit notes, I can issue my debit notes I can do my quotations. What more do I need? My class needs service and I'm able to give the service.

On a scale of ‘it’s a bust’, ‘it’s worth a look’ or ‘it’s a no brainer’, where do you place the Phantom X2?

The Phantom X2 series is no-brainer.
