CLARENCE MUHORO | FOUNDER OF YOUNG INVESTORS AFRICA

Hello my name is Clarence Muhoro, I'm a joyful, passionate person. I am a Christian and entrepreneur and a leader and a community servant. I have a business called Young Investors Africa, that is passionate about helping young people to create wealth through investment, passionate about serving our community. And I also love football and formula one, and so l am an Arsenal fan, Lewis Hamilton fan and the proud Kenyan, and a proud African.

What was the drive to start Young Investors Africa? What was the inspiration?

So, for me, actually, it's a story of a young boy who wanted to become rich, who had a journey to learn about financial freedom and to learn about Investments. And so, in that pursuit of getting to know what I really wanted, I ended up thinking can I help someone also do that because I learned a lot. I was so excited and so I say let me teach people and so from a club in school called investors club, it grew, you people loved it and so impact and I was like, can I do this as a business? Can I help people and make it sustainable? That’s my drive.

How does it make you feel every time seeing the feedback you get from others based on investment advise?

I feel very fulfilled, just seeing someone make the right decisions, you see, even the time of starting a club in school, the key thing was, can I tell you something? And then that thing and shows that when you are 40 years old, you are not bankrupt, or that you made the right decision today or that you helped your “Shosh asikuwe” conned by someone. And so just seeing someone make the right decisions. Now, when you are young and it is having effects for the future, you know, in Kenya, if you're doing well, it means your communities is doing well, so you'll help support 10 people 20. Yeah, and I feel like I'm doing my part to help Africa.

What inspires you every day to get up, go to work and push the knowledge to others?

My inspiration I think is becoming a better version of myself. I think there's a lot of joy that comes from growth from doing what you're supposed to do and from contributing to the world, I and l believe as a Christian that I'm able to fulfill my purpose here on Earth.

In all your years in operation, what would you consider as the biggest highlight of your success story so far?

I think a major highlight has been the boot camps we've had, we've had over 1,000 people in our boot camps. They've been so fun doing the classes and enjoying them both physically, and virtually and also community service. I think, getting to serve at their primary school and build a library that got over 1,000 books and raised over 1.3 million was so exciting and just felt like it was meant to be and so even in knowledge, even trying to impact the next generation in terms of knowledge.

In your profession, how does a phone come into your creative workflow and how do you use it?

To be very honest, a phone is everything to me because for the virtual boot camps l use a phone you can imagine because of the camera quality. Again, when you're making content, when you making things through canva I use my phone. You get to interact our clients through our phone, I get to posts and build a community online through my phone. Running an online business It means that my phone is my best friend. With this thing, I would rather lose my arm than this device here. So phones are very, very important and I'm really excited to use the TECNO Phantom X2 for our boot camps.

What were your first impressions when you unboxed the Phantom X2 for the first time?

My first impression when l was unboxing the TECNO Phantom X2 I think for me was a lot of excitement. I was looking forward to having a new phone and just getting that phone just before Christmas and having it so well packaged and seeing the camera and how big it was, was so exciting for me. Like, it was so much joy, actually even recorded it probably l can share it and it can be put in but l was so excited. I couldn't wait to have a new phone and to use it. I think having that experience of a new gadget just brings in so much energy, you just explore the phone you're like, oh my God, I can take videos. I this phone does some self some self edits which are so cool. So it was so exciting.

Which feature of the Phantom X2 do you feel is the most important to your workflow and how do you use it?

Apart from the camera, one thing I like is a storage, it has a huge storage. The other thing I like is that it has a very good user interface that is so wide and so curvy so l can watch games on my phone, I'm an Arsenal not fan I had to say it. I can also be able to play games like Call of Duty can able to watch Netflix and just put it on a stand and it's so it's like a small television set guys. So I think that's my most important quality.

On scale of "It's a bust" "worth a look" or "it's a no brainer" where do you place the TECNO Phantom X2 series?

The TECNO Phantom X2 is a no-brainer, the self editing videos, the dual videos, it's a no-brainer guys and I love it. I'm so excited to use a TECNO and to enjoy and to live my life through it.
